With two layers ensuring your sweet escape won't be interrupted, this sandwich cookie not only tastes good but will satisfy both your hunger and desire for something crispy and crunchy. You'll want to indulge in these mouthwatering taste sensations. So go ahead, cause life's too short for regret.
Are you already drooling with an idea of deep-fried Oreos?
We don't know when or where it started -- some say behind the kitchen of a local restaurant in Louisiana, others might claim somewhere down south during Mardi Gras. All we know is that one thing's for sure: Deep fried Oreos are here to stay.
For starters, everyone's dad loves them (they're an indisputable Father’s Day tradition), and there's not a more American dessert than deep-fried anything – their crispy outsides alongside their creamy insides blow our minds every time we take a bite. And if you like cookies with icing (or dark chocolate!), then these are definitely your jam.
These addictive and deliciously different treats are the perfect dessert for any occasion. You can also have them at home with some ice cream or just by themselves, but we won’t tell your friends that you did that.
Which is the perfect occasion to make deep-fried Oreos at home?
You can deep-fry Oreos anytime you want. Whether you're a culinary mastermind looking to knock their guests' socks off or just want easy party food, this recipe is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth. The deep fry technique creates perfectly crispy outsides and lavish innards for a truly unforgettable chocolate experience.
What if I could give you what most Americans consider just a wee piece of heaven, but that's also crispy? And then fold it inside the dough, deep fry it in only the best plant-based oils and coat it in sugar, cinnamon and rich chocolate. That would be something you'd never do with your cookies again! Vanilla extract isn't enough for these little indulgences - they need an entire barrel of pure joy to go off like fireworks on the tongue.
How Can I store fried Oreos for the next day?
Store in an airtight container with a piece of paper towel so that they won't get hard and dry because of the moisture from the wrapper. If you don't have an airtight container, then use Ziploc or Glad plastic bag. Don't close it tightly because the cookies need some airflow! If there's no airtight container at home, wrapping it with aluminium foil would do too. But if you are going to freeze the cookies, after all, make sure you defrost the cookie completely before eating.
Make Chocolate Sauce At Home To Serve With fried Oreos
Using only 3 ingredients, the secret is melted chocolate with butter and heavy cream. Use 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips (use your favourite brand) 2 tbsp of unsalted butter, 2/3 cup of heavy cream and sugar for taste (optional).
Instructions: Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or double boiler. Stir in the butter until melted. Using a thermometer, bring the heavy cream to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60C). Add heavy cream to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. If it is too thick add more cream. Sugar can be added for taste. Pour the mixture into a squeeze bottle or container of your choice.
Satisfy your every sweet tooth for any shared dessert today!
Make your friends envious by deep-frying the ooey-gooey, creamy inside of a single Oreo. Trust me, if you haven't tried an Oreo fried up in corn oil then there's no time like the present. Pair it with any other treat you can think of and say goodbye to resisting temptation!
